250-Unit Columbia Pike Project to Go Before Planning Commission

A large new residential development on the boards for the site of a Columbia Pike shopping center will go before the planning commission in early September.
Republic Properties has plans for a 250-unit apartment building with 22,500 square feet of retail at the site of the Westmont Shopping Center at 3233-3263 Columbia Pike (map). The six-story project, designed by Lessard Design, will also have an underground parking garage with 345 spaces.

On September 11, the development will go before the Arlington County Planning Commission to get approval on a modification associated with the topographical nature of the retail on the ground floor of the proposed development.
