UrbanTurf Privacy Policy
UrbanTurf treats the privacy of website visitors and email subscribers very seriously, and is committed to protecting it.
In order to sign up for the UrbanTurf email newsletter, subscribers voluntarily provide an email address, first name, last name, country of residence, zip code, household income, home buying plans, whether or not they own or are interested in investment property, types of home preferred, and whether or not they work in real estate.
By signing up for the newsletter, subscribers consent to receive promotional communications sent by or on behalf of UrbanTurf and its partner companies. UrbanTurf reserves the right to send email promotions from carefully screened sponsors, as is standard practice in email publishing. In sending the occasional promotion, UrbanTurf never compromises privacy. Promotional emails are always sent by UrbanTurf through its own email system.
Individual subscriber information is never distributed, sold, or otherwise provided to third parties.
In an aggregate, anonymous, and non-personally identifiable manner, UrbanTurf may occasionally provide the demographic data voluntarily shared by subscribers during the sign-up process to trusted partners to help them effectively deliver relevant marketing messages to the subscriber base. Again, such information is on an aggregate, not individual, basis.
The UrbanTurf website employs “cookies,” which are small text files that the web server places in user log files as a unique identifier. Cookies enable UrbanTurf to track general usage patterns in order to effectively deliver content to as many users as possible, given that users access the website through a variety of internet service providers, and computer hardware and software configurations. UrbanTurf cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.
The UrbanTurf website may sometimes offer article commenting functionality. Comments and other information posted in these venues is published on the website and becomes public knowledge. UrbanTurf reserves the right to re-publish and distribute such comments at its discretion.
UrbanTurf newsletter subscribers may opt out of email newsletters at any time by either clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link that appears at the bottom of every email newsletter or by submitting a removal request directly to
subscriptions@urbanturf.com. Doing so will prevent the subscriber from receiving all future mailings, including UrbanTurf email newsletter issues and third-party promotions. It may take up to five business days for the unsubscribe request to be fully processed.
Any questions or concerns regarding the UrbanTurf Privacy Policy should be sent to
