1365-1375 H Street
A 30-unit development is still in the works for 1365-1375 H Street NE (map) above the Atlas Doghouse, but not much has happened since our last update a year ago. The new building, designed by John Linam Jr., will be a four-story building consisting primarily of junior one-bedroom and one-bedroom apartments. The Atlas Doghouse will remain on-site. The development will provide new residents with SmarTrip cards and and Capital Bikeshare memberships in lieu of parking.

1000-1016 H Street
The development site at 1000-1016 H Street NE is currently for sale, calling into question whether or not a 70-80 unit residential project will move forward at the addresses. Plans pitched a few years ago from Akseizer Design Group called for a five-story project that will incorporate the existing building façades along H Street into the design.

901 3rd Street NE
Dila Development and Construction has plans in the works to convert an office building located just north of the H Street Corridor (map) into a 90-unit condominium building plus four townhouses.
The developer purchased the building from the non--profit World Vision back in April with an eye towards a conversion. Dila's Utku Aslanturk told UrbanTurf that the condos will be a mix of studios, one- and two-bedrooms, with four, 4-5 bedroom townhomes behind the condo building.
The units, designed by Axis Architecture + Interiors, will have ceiling heights of 12 to 14-feet, an uncommonly high ceiling height for new city residences. The building, named ANKA, will also have a common rooftop terrace, gym, dog wash, lounge, as well as private roof decks on some units.

11th and H
A February article from the HillRag stated that Holladay Corporation and Monarch Urban have "stepped away" from plans to build a 54-unit development at 1101-1107 H Street NE (map).

Plans for one of the largest developments on the boards for the H Street Corridor will be delayed.
WestMill Capital Partners (WCP) pitched plans a few years ago for a roughly 210-unit apartment project at the AutoZone site at 1207 H Street NE (map). The block-long development, designed by PGN Architects + Michael Graves Architecture, would have approximately 11,000 square feet of retail space and activate the alley space behind the project.
An application filed with DC's Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) about a month ago sought an extension of the approval for these plans. Due to adverse market conditions, high interest rates and escalating construction costs, the development team has not been able to secure financing.
