Huge Latin Market Adjacent to Union Market Set to Open This Week
Another market will open soon in the Union Market area.
La Cosecha, the sprawling Latin market around the corner from Union Market, will open on a four-day schedule starting on October 3. The market at 1280 4th Street NE (map) will be open Thursday through Sunday with vendor pop-ups offering food, wine, clothing and other goods from South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The cuisine options will include Venezuelan and Salvadoran street food, Peruvian sandwiches, a Mexican-German bakery and a cocktail bar from the group behind Colada Shop.
The market, operated by EDENS, will be open at 11am daily.
