It has been awhile since we checked in over at the Woodley Wardman, a new residential project being built in a section of DC where developable land is almost non-existent. UrbanTurf recently got word that the 39-unit, two-building condo project in Woodley Park has about 15 units left for sale and that a model unit should be ready for public viewing by mid-February or early March.
Rendering of Woodley Wardman
Located at 2816-2822 Connecticut Avenue NW (map), the Woodley Wardman will consist of four restored historic Wardman row houses that front Connecticut Avenue, and a seven-story tower that will sit behind them. Urban Pace sales representative Jeremy Aldridge told UrbanTurf that buyers will likely be able to move in to the row house section around the beginning of March and that construction is scheduled to be complete on the tower by the beginning of the summer.
The price range for the remaining units is about as wide as it gets. The least expensive ($299,900 for a studio) and most expensive ($2.1 million for a two-level, three-bedroom penthouse) are still on the market along with a range of options in between. Once complete, all units will be pre-wired for cable, satellite, high speed internet, and flat panel TVs, and will include built-in iPod and iPhone docking stations, security systems, and individually controlled HVAC systems. Both buildings will include private rooftop terraces and balconies, and a public courtyard. Deeded garage and surface parking will also be available.
The sales and marketing at Woodley Wardman are being handled by Urban Pace. We will aim to get you photos of the model unit as soon as it is complete, but in the meantime, click here if you would like more information.
