In this week's Under Contract, we highlight a home on one of DC's first inhabitable alleys that recently found a buyer.

A Home On One of DC's First Inhabitable Alleys
This compact two-bedroom -- tucked away on Snows Court, a Foggy Bottom alley that was one of the first alleys in DC on which homes were built -- spent just under two weeks on the market before finding a buyer. The seller used modern materials and technologies in order to accentuate the historic elements in the 730 square-foot listing. The space was opened using a spiral staircase and the original 1884 exposed brick was carefully restored. A skylight above the stairwell lights up the second floor where the bedrooms are located. Out back, is a small patio for entertaining.

- Bedrooms: Two
- Bathrooms: One
- Square Feet: 730
- Year Built: 1884
- Days On Market: 12
