In this installment of Under Contract, UrbanTurf revisits three recently-featured listings which took anywhere from five to 24 days to go under contract.
Two Weeks for Beaux-Arts Two-Bedroom
Located in a delightfully symmetrical Beaux-Arts building near Rock Creek Park in Adams Morgan, this two-bedroom unit went under contract not quite two weeks after being listed. Upon entry, one walks down a long hall leading to a living room with a wall of built-ins on one side. Through a wide doorway to the left, the kitchen has an L-shaped array of cabinetry, an exposed brick wall framing the windows, and a bi-level, pentagonal breakfast bar/island. The adjacent dining room takes advantage of a bay window. Both of the bedrooms have walls of closets, and the owner's suite also has a bay window. The building also offers a dedicated basement storage space for the unit.

Five Days for Mount Rainier Five-Bedroom
This ultra-affordable five-bedroom bungalow in Mount Rainier spent the least time on the market of today's featured listings, finding a buyer in five days. A double-wide entryway past the living room leads to the dining room and has open sightlines into the kitchen, which has a stainless steel farmhouse sink, a wall-mounted oven, and color-blocked Marmoleum floors, as well as a series of windows converging in the corner. A sunroom on this level doubles as the laundry room, and two bedrooms share a full bath on this level also. At the top of the stairs, a built-in shelving unit offers a partition, while a secluded nook on the large landing can double as an office or play area. The lower level has a separate side entrance and offers a junior one-bedroom in-law suite with L-shaped kitchen and separate laundry room.

24 Days for A Tudor With Octagonal Bays
This renovated Colonial Village Tudor comes packed with plenty of history along with its impressive living spaces. Sited on nearly half an acre, the property was previously an ambassador's residence, hosted a dinner party where John F. Kennedy was a guest, and counted Gallaudet University as an owner. An octagonal turret serves as a sunroom on the main level, a living room attached to a two-bedroom in-law suite with kitchenette on the third story, and a private terrace off the owner's suite. On the main level, the living room and family room both have tray ceilings and slate panel fireplaces. The interior garage opens into the lower level, which has a wine cellar with access to a separate storage room.
