This Week's Find is located in DC's Forest Hills neighborhood, but it has the feel and design of a home that Frank Sinatra might have owned in the California desert.
The mid-century modern home was originally built in 1959, but was given a full renovation over the last year by DC-based developer COBA and the Akseizer Design Group. Despite the complete overhaul, the 4,000 square-foot house retains much of its 1950s aesthetic.

The home is essentially brand new except for the existing brick envelope of the structure. The centerpiece of the new listing is a wide open living space that features 12.5-foot vaulted ceilings, walls of windows and sliding glass doors that lead out to a rear garden and patio.
Unlike more traditional homes in DC, this house is laid out over just two levels. The main level of houses the master suite and two more bedrooms, while the lower level has a large recreation room with a wet bar and kitchenette, a laundry room and two more bedrooms.
