The Heights Food Hall in Friendship Heights announced this weekend that it would be closing its doors.
"After many wonderful memories, The Heights Food Hall will be permanently closing our doors tomorrow, August 24th, 2025," a message posted on The Heights Instagram account stated.
The Heights, a ten-stall food hall that took over the spaces formerly occupied by PF Changs and Anthropologie (map), opened in the summer of 2023. The food stalls included a sushi concept from Moon Rabbit and Himitsu chef Kevin Tien, vegan Indian street fare from Priya Ammu, owner of DC Dosa, and a deli.
In recent months, many of the stalls were no longer open for business, calling into question the long-term prospects of the hall.
