The 6 Northern Virginia Zip Codes With Highest Home Price Appreciation in 2024

Last week, UrbanTurf took a look at the Maryland suburbs with the highest home price appreciation so far in 2024. Today, we will take a look at the close-in Northern Virginia zip codes where prices have risen the most.
In the table below, we outline the areas that have seen the largest percentage increase in home values this year. In order to qualify for the list, a zip code had to record at least 20 sales so far in 2024.

This year, the Arlington zip code of 22203 leads the way with a 33% increase in median prices, as virtually all property types saw values rise, including condo and co-ops rising 18%. With an increase of 22%, the 22101 zip code -- home to the large houses of McLean -- came in second, with prices $300,000 higher than last year.
The Falls Church zip code of 22046 and the Arlington zip code of 22205 followed with median prices rising around 20% and both zip codes seeing prices cross the $1 million threshold. Rounding out the list are the Alexandria zip code of 22306 and the Vienna zip code of 22181.
