Leading the way so far in 2021 is Colonial Village, a small neighborhood at the top of the DC diamond. Eighty percent of homes in this section of the city sold in under ten days this year. Next on the list are Spring Valley, Burleith and Takoma, where homes are selling on median in four and five days, respectively.
There are seven more neighborhoods in the city, ranging from Crestwood to Kent, where homes are selling on median in just under a week. Every neighborhood in the table above also has an average sales-to-original list price ratio in excess of 100% which means that homes are not only selling fast, but at or above list price.
