142-Unit Development At Inn of Rosslyn Site Moves Forward

The 142-unit development planned for one of the oldest motel sites in Rosslyn is moving forward.
Monument Realty filed updated plans with Arlington County this week to redevelop the former Inn of Rosslyn site at 1601 Fairfax Drive (map) into an eight-story, 142-unit residential project. The building, designed by DCS Design, will have an underground parking garage with 87 spaces, but no retail.

The Inn of Rosslyn, formerly know at Motel 50, closed in January 2021 after a sixty year run. The design of the new building will be in the Colonial Revival and Art Deco styles to pay homage to the motel.
