Plans for the latest residential component at The Parks at Walter Reed have been filed with DC's Board of Zoning Adjustment.
Toll Brothers submitted the plans for a six-story, 280-unit apartment building at Site L on the former Walter Reed campus last week. Site L sits along the newly created 13th Street NW, between Elder Street NW and Dahlia Street NW. WDG Architecture designed the new building.

The development will have a double-heigh lobby, two private courtyards and a parking level for 192 cars and 94 bikes. Approximately 10% of the residential units will be set aside as affordable.
Plans for the project were submitted to DC's Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) in May and the development team is now in the process of making minor revisions to the building design based on the HPRB’s feedback.
