The Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership announced Sunday that discount grocer Lidl will open a 29,000 square-foot store at Upton Place, a large new mixed-use development under construction at 4000 Wisconsin Avenue NW (map). The new Lidl location will be the third outpost of the chain in DC. Earlier this year, the grocer broke ground on its first location at Skyland.
