Penn Eleven, the 34-unit luxury development built behind a historic façade at a beloved Capitol Hill address, is now nearly 70 percent sold with just a handful of condominiums on the market. One of the remaining residences includes the last available penthouse, featuring expansive terraces and unobstructed views of the Washington Monument and Capitol dome. All remaining homes are move-in ready and Penn Eleven is holding Open Houses this Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4pm.
Designed by Hickok Cole Architects and developed by Perseus TDC, Penn Eleven is located at Pennsylvania Avenue and 11th Street SE and was built upon the two-story historic façade of the original Frager’s Hardware store. Over 70 percent of the homes feature private outdoor space and built-in gas grills allowing for ample outdoor entertaining coupled with truly one-of-a-kind floorplans that range in size up to 2,200 square feet.
Every new residence is outfitted with wide plank hardwood floors, top-of-the-line appliances, marble quartz countertops, single panel solid-core doors, custom built-in wardrobes, modern crown molding and recessed lighting throughout. Select homes also come with full home automation packages including pre-wiring for speakers, smart thermostats and motorized shades.
Penn Eleven boasts an array of thoughtful amenities including an on-site concierge for services like dog walking and laundry, as well as stylish shared spaces. Common areas include an entry hall with curated art; a designer lobby with custom millwork; a library lounge; and a large rooftop terrace with gas grills, private seating arrangements and picturesque views of the Capitol and Washington Monument. Private underground parking and storage spaces are also available.
Penn Eleven is home to the brand new, two-story Frager’s Hardware store, and will soon be home to Emilie, a new restaurant from Kevin Tien, the executive chef/co-owner of Himitsu. The property is within walking distance of all of Capitol Hill’s most popular restaurants and cafes—including Rose’s Luxury, Peregrine Espresso, Little Pearl, and Acqua al 2—and is steps from Eastern Market, the Capitol Building and the Library of Congress.
Pricing for the remaining homes at Penn Eleven start from the mid $700s for a spacious two-bedroom home, with sales and marketing managed by McWilliams|Ballard. For additional information or to schedule a tour of one of the property’s model homes, visit the Penn Eleven website here or call 202-888-1469.
