Even as the housing market has slowed in recent months in the DC region, there are still plenty of neighborhoods where homes are selling quickly. Today, UrbanTurf looks at where listings are selling fastest in DC proper in 2024.
Using median days on market data for advertised subdivisions around the city, we highlighted where homes have been selling quickest. To be included in the table, subdivisions needed to have recorded at least ten sales so far this year.

Two "Parks" -- American University and Woodley -- are the neighborhoods in the city where homes are selling in just a week, however there are a slew of areas where homes are taking just a bit longer to sell. From Chevy Chase to Mount Pleasant to Takoma, the common thread among many of the neighborhoods where homes are selling in just a week is that the dominant property type is single-family homes.
