Woodley Wardman Townhouse Units Almost Sold Out, Tower Delivering Soon
The Woodley Wardman
The Woodley Wardman, a new residential project in a section of DC where developable land is almost non-existent, is down to its last two units in the 16-unit townhouse section, and the seven-story tower portion of the project is set for delivery by the end of the summer, UrbanTurf has learned.
Located at 2818 Connecticut Avenue NW (map), the Woodley Wardman consists of four restored row houses that front Connecticut Avenue, and a seven-story, 23-unit tower that is entirely new construction behind these properties. The project held a cocktail party and preview event for the tower on Wednesday night.

The remaining homes in the townhouse section are both two-bedrooms, an 1,103 square-foot English basement and a 1,456 square-foot upper-level condo. The tower is aiming for delivery in August or September, and once complete, the condos will be pre-wired for cable, satellite, high speed internet, and flat panel TVs, and will include built-in iPod and iPhone docking stations, security systems, and individually controlled HVAC systems. The layouts and finishes for a selection of the units, including three penthouses, are being conceived by Christian Zapatka, a DC-based architect who has designed a number of homes around the city.

The building will also have a private rooftop terrace and balconies, and a public courtyard was recently completed that will be shared with residents in the townhouses. Deeded garage and surface parking will also be available.
Sales at the Woodley Wardman tower, which are being handled by Urban Pace, have already begun.
