This week in What X Rents You, UrbanTurf looks in the $2,200 a month range to see what choices are out there for prospective renters in the DC area with this monthly budget.
Studio With a Garden in Dupont Circle
This rental is on the ground floor of a privately-owned rowhouse in Dupont Circle. From the photos, the apartment looks like one not-so-big open space, with a full sized bed tucked into a corner. But, the biggest selling point is outside: a door opens to a private, fenced-in yard. The studio is available furnished or unfurnished.

A One-Bedroom Plus Den With Built-ins in Cleveland Park
Unlike the option above, this Cleveland Park rental has many rooms: a living room, den, master suite and a kitchen with a breakfast nook. The whole apartment has an Art Deco style, and the den is particularly cute, with an arched entrance and built-in shelves. We also liked the tin ceiling in the kitchen. The unit is available starting in late May.

Stylishly Renovated in Trinidad
The recessed lighting, cool blue paint and open floor plan makes this Trinidad English basement seem more like a stylish condo. While it has two bedrooms, and is close to Union Market and relatively close to the H Street Corridor, its lack of big windows is a bit of a strike against it. The rental rate includes utilities, and the apartment is available on May 1st.

- Rent: $2,200 a month
