In Under Contract this week, we look at a couple properties that UrbanTurf has featured that went under contract in the last 10 days.
Views of the Curvature of the Earth
Featured as This Week’s Find way back in May, this palatial 2,500-square-foot penthouse in the Mica stood out for two reasons: its cool artist’s studio and the sprawling outdoor space. As for the latter, there is a wraparound 1,700-square-foot terrace, which is itself twice the size of some of the two-bedrooms we feature on UrbanTurf. The views are so wide and unobstructed that you can see the curvature of the Earth. Despite that amenity, the unit sat on the market for seven months before finding a buyer just before Thanksgiving.

Barracks Row Victorian Fit for a Giant
This six-bedroom Victorian in Barracks Row was featured in Best New Listings just over a month ago and has many doubles: double ovens, double dens, double fireplaces in the double-wide living room, and double bedrooms in the rental unit. With its massive spaces, the home has a super-sized feel, but UrbanTurf liked the reading nook below the second floor balcony and the seating area in the master bedroom. There is also a deck out back as well as a three-car parking pad. It found a buyer on November 21.
