In this week’s edition of Under Contract, UrbanTurf looks at two recently listed homes that each found buyers in under five days.

This 1981-built home in Forest Hills didn’t have much chance of staying on the market very long. The rectangular house sits on a massive lot, and has cool eco-friendly touches, like solar panels and a rooftop garden. The main living areas are bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that reach up to a wooden, beamed ceiling and the double-sided fireplace is a cool touch. The home hit the market on a Friday and was under contract by the following Tuesday.

Renovated Capitol Hill Rowhouse With a Storage Shed

We featured this three-bedroom Capitol Hill home in the same edition of Best New Listings as the property above. Since being sold four years ago, a number of renovations have been made to the 14th Place listing, including a new kitchen, bathrooms, and new windows. The home is on the small side for a three-bedroom, but an open floor plan on the main level makes it feel more comfortable. It was on the market just a day longer than the house above.
