A Palatial Two-Bedroom in Kalorama

This 1,470 square-foot, two-bedroom co-op in Kalorama was featured in Best New Listings just last week, and found a buyer so quickly that they cancelled the open house. The large entryway and bright living and dining areas separated by pocket doors are probably the unit’s marquee features, but the fireplace and small desk nook off the kitchen are also nice touches. The buyer was clearly not deterred by the co-op fees, which cover almost all utilities and property taxes.

  • Address: 1852 Columbia Road NW, #202 (map)
  • Price: $585,000
  • Co-op Fees: $810/month
  • Bedrooms: Two
  • Bathrooms: 1.5
  • Days on Market: 3
  • Listing Agent: Jeffrey Tanck, Century 21 Redwood Realty

A Comfortable but Updated Woodley Park Townhouse

This four-bedroom Woodley townhouse brings together a nice mix of comfortable living with classy updates. The Wardman has three bedrooms upstairs, and a finished basement with a guest suite. A breakfast nook has been installed in the updated kitchen, there is a rear deck, and also two-car parking out back, one space which is in the garage. It found a buyer about a week after we featured it.

  • Address: 2799 28th Street NW (map)
  • Price: $1,175,000
  • Bedrooms: Four
  • Bathrooms: 2.5
  • Year Built: 1921
  • Days on Market: 7
  • Listing Agent: Richard Oder, Long & Foster Real Estate

A Two-Bedroom Rowhouse on Southeast Capitol Hill

This two-bedroom Capitol Hill rowhouse stood out to us for Best New Listings for its homey interior, including the oft-used fireplace in the cozy living room. The kitchen is small, but has updated appliances and leads out onto a back patio with room for a dining set and a grill. The basement is unfinished, but there is a nice looking patio out back. After just five days on the market, the Kentucky Avenue home found a buyer.

  • Address: 403 Kentucky Avenue SE (map)
  • Price: $595,000
  • Bedrooms: Two
  • Bathrooms: One
  • Year Built: 1905
  • Days on Market: 5
  • Listing Agent: John Smith, Prudential PenFed Realty
