UDC’s Presidential Residence Hits the Market

3520 Rittenhouse Street NW
The presidential home for the University of the District of Columbia hit the market on Thursday. The four-bedroom home in Chevy Chase DC was listed by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty for $1.5 million.

As the City Paper pointed out last year, the university has considered selling the house for some time because it is too far from the university, and so the president usually opts to live somewhere more convenient to the school. Neither current president Ronald Mason, Jr. or his predecessor James Lyons lived in the house.
