The Trump Effect Continues: $10 Million Georgetown Condo Goes Under Contract

The list of high-priced post-election real estate purchases in DC continues to grow. 

Right on the heels of a $29 million home along Foxhall Road going under contract to Trump's Commerce Secretary pick, one of the city's priciest condos has found a buyer.

UrbanTurf has learned that a $10.5 million penthouse at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Georgetown went under contract on Tuesday. The five-bedroom unit, listed with Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby's International Realty, is the largest residence in the building, with 6,400 ft.² of interior space, and nearly 3,000 ft.² of outdoor space.

The unit also features a private elevator, a huge primary suite with wraparound windows, four garage parking spaces and access to all of the hotel amenities at The Ritz-Carlton. 

For those keeping track of the luxury real estate transactions that have taken place in the region since the election (and we are), this ranks as the eighth 8-figure property to either go under contract or sell. Here is a list of the others:
