The zip code where home values have risen the most this year is 20722, which is home to Brentwood. The rise in prices for 3- and 4-bedroom detached houses drove appreciation. The next three zip codes which are home to areas of Takoma Park, Hyattsville and Bladensburg, all saw home values rise 16%.
Two Bethesda zip codes and a Potomac zip code made the table above with median home prices in the seven-figure range and appreciation ranges from 10%-15% year-over-year.
