With the spring housing market underway, UrbanTurf is taking its annual look at the neighborhood markets around the DC region. Today, we head to Capitol Hill.
Last year was a very good year for the market on the Hill, with prices and sales rising by double digit percentage points compared to the previous year. So far in 2020, home prices and sales are up slightly, while the story looks to be the low inventory of homes for sale on the market, with just over a month's supply in March.
Below are some additional statistics we picked out about the Capitol Hill market.

- $951,920 -- The average home sales price on Capitol Hill so far in 2020, up about 1.5 percent compared to last year.
- $1.621 million -- The average home price for an attached house with four or more bedrooms, up 7 percent compared to 2020.
- 1.22 -- The monthly supply of homes for sale in March, down 24 percent compared to last March.
- 120 -- The number of homes sold so far in 2020.
- 50% -- The percentage of homes that sold in ten days or less.
- 99.7% -- The average sales price to original list price ratio for homes that sold in 2020.
