Plans for another residential project in downtown Bethesda are moving forward.

Broad Branch Partners and Mosaic Realty Partners recently filed a site plan application with Montgomery County for a condo and townhouse development planned for a plot just east of Woodmont Triangle (map). The project is designed by Torti Gallas Partners.

"The mixed-use development [would have] up to 53 multi-family dwelling units, up to 5,469 square feet of incidental non-residential uses (up to 15 live/work units), an approximately 7,000 square-foot public park, up to 99 structured parking spaces, and private amenities," per the application.

The new residential project is part of a joint venture that was selected to redevelop lots 44 and 25, two Montgomery County controlled surface parking lots. The plans for Lot 25 from Monument Realty and Mosaic Realty Partners are for a new 230-unit residential development with a 90-foot wide public park and up to 145 public parking spaces.
