Raze Application Paves Way For 214-Unit Development at Former Fox 5 Site on Wisconsin Avenue

Plans are progressing to redevelop the former WTTG-Fox 5 headquarters site in Friendship Heights as a raze application for the building has now been filed.
Donohoe Development has plans in the works to build a six-story, 214-unit project at 5151 Wisconsin Avenue NW (map). An application to raze the existing building at the address was filed with DC last week.

The development would include a 1,500 square-foot retail or restaurant space at Wisconsin Avenue and Harrison Street, and there would be 86-167 vehicular parking spaces and at least 71 long-term bicycle spaces. Torti Gallas Urban is the architect.
Fox 5 relocated to downtown Bethesda last year. Donohoe anticipates that the new development will be complete in 2025.
