Open This Weekend: New Condos Between Columbia Heights & Petworth Metros

Heading north from downtown DC, Washingtonians are starting to see some big changes between the Columbia Heights and Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro stations. Restaurants and bars with outdoor seating and chic storefronts are cropping up on corners. New grocery stores are moving in. And on Sherman Avenue, traffic has been re-routed—cutting traffic lanes from four to two—to increase walkability and ride-ability (for bikers).
The beautification of the area has also spurred construction of a number of new condominiums that are changing the face (and real estate value) of the neighborhood. Among those new condos are a handful of top-of-the-line condominiums being marketed by DC-based boutique real estate brokerage GreenLine Real Estate.
This weekend, GreenLine Real Estate will debut the Park Row Condominiums, a series of three new construction townhouses located at 3413, 3415 and 3417 Sherman Ave NW (map). Open houses will be held between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Watch the video below:
Each townhouse consists of two two-level, 1,300 to 1,600 square-foot homes. Park Row features double master suites, dens, outdoor spaces, parking and open floor plans that are ideal for entertaining. Finishing details include ebony-hued hardwood floors, high ceilings with recessed lighting, bright kitchens with Carrara marble counters and islands, stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets (in all bedrooms), and in-home washer/dryer units. Each unit also has outdoor space and parking.
Units sized at 1,300 square feet are priced at $649,900, and units sized at 1,600 square feet are priced at $699,900.
Other upcoming residential developments in the neighborhood to look out for include:
- The NorthStar Condominiums, seven large, new construction two-bedroom condos slated for completion by the end of the year and located at 762 Park Road (just behind Park Row)
- Four new units under construction at 756 Park Road, where demolition has just begun
- Approximately 23 residential units planned for the corner of Sherman and Morton Avenues
NorthStar Condominiums, coming soon to Park Road.
