There is a buyer for the 14th Street headquarters of Martha’s Table.
Madison Investments competed with a number of other parties on the coveted property, and will close on the building at 2114 14th Street NW (map) next summer.
So what’s on tap for the address?
“We have run multiple scenarios, but have not decided on one yet,” Sia Madani of Madison Investments told UrbanTurf. “We want to do something that is a little different, and are going to design the new development from the retail on up.”

While Madani noted that a specific use has yet to be determined, he noted that it will likely be apartments or condos and could include office space. The project will be constructed by-right, but is in an historic district.
Martha’s Table will be moving to two new locations in 2018: a space on Columbia Road NW in Adams Morgan, and a large new headquarters in Anacostia.
News of the headquarter’s purchase was first reported by Washington Business Journal.
