Back in 2022, DC's Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) granted approval for a large residential proposal from Toll Brothers for the northern edge of DC's Walter Reed campus. Now, a new development team is looking to take over the project and move it forward.
Urban Atlantic and NV Homes have filed slightly revised plans with DC to put 47 townhomes and 96 condos on Parcels A-G at The Parks at Walter Reed (map). EHT Traceries is helming the design revisions of the approved project.

The layout and unit count will be virtually unchanged from the Toll Brothers proposal. There will be 47 townhouses fronting Fern, 12th and 13th Streets, and 96 condominiums will be stacked two-over-two arranged in rows along Elder Street and Georgia Avenue. The design changes largely focus on making the homes more compatible with the other residential projects at Walter Reed.
