Knight Kiplinger, who heads the media company bearing his name, recently put his Spring Valley house on the market for $1.95 million.
The five-bedroom Fordham Road home has not been on the market in almost twenty years, and among other amenities, has three fireplaces on the first floor, a heated garage and a private rear patio.
Kiplinger was founded in 1920 and is one of the oldest media companies in the country. Started by Knight Kiplinger’s grandfather, W.M., the company is perhaps most well-known for its paid-subscription newsletter, The Kiplinger Letter. The Washington Post published a nice retrospective on the company last month.
Knight Kiplinger’s home was listed earlier this week by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
