Is Dacha Beer Garden Coming to 14th Street?
For the last several years, the only beer garden in Logan Circle has been The Standard-turned-Garden District at 14th and S Street NW. However, now another popular DC beer garden might be looking to open up…right across the street.
Dacha Beer Garden appears to have a pending application for a Class “C” alcohol license for 1740 14th Street NW (map), which is the address for the parking lot that sits catty corner to Garden District at the intersection of 14th and S Street NW. Interestingly, the address is the former site of a plant store called Garden District.

The Class C license for the new beer garden was on the agenda for the ANC 2F ABRA Policy Committee meeting this Wednesday night, but was postponed to a later date on Monday.
Dacha opened its flagship DC beer garden at 1600 7th Street NW in 2013, and has plans to open a second location at Dock 79 just south of Nats Park where its neighbors will be The Salt Line and another outpost of All Purpose.
