Montgomery County home prices rose to a new high in April, according to data compiled from Bright MLS by UrbanTurf. The median home price in the county hit $650,000 for the first time, eclipsing the previous record of $630,000 set in 2022.
The new price represents a 51% increase compared to 10 years ago, when the median price came in just around $430,000. Montgomery County is not alone in seeing prices reach new heights this spring. Both the region as a whole and Northern Virginia saw prices hit a new high in April.
