Google Makes Pittsburgh Look Like A Fun Place to Work

Google’s New Pittsburgh Office.
Pittsburgh doesn’t necessarily have the appeal for recent college graduates in the way that DC, New York City and San Francisco do. But perhaps Google’s new digs in the Steel City will change that.
In this week’s departure from the DC residential real estate scene, we take a look at Google’s new offices in Pittsburgh, courtesy of a profile on Fast Company’s CoDesign site.
Google opened a Pittsburgh office back in 2005 and made a point of hiring graduates from local universities. The search engine’s new space is at the 100 year-old Nabisco factory and as CoDesign points out, the office pays homage to the city where it is located while still having a number of the trademarks that one would see at Google offices around the globe (read: bean bags, pool table).
