DC's Public Health Emergency Extended to May 15

Mayor Muriel Bowser extended the city's public health emergency until May 15 on Wednesday. The emergency was originally set to end on April 24.
In her daily press conference, the mayor also said that school and non-essential business closures will be in place until May 15, as will the stay-at-home order and ban on gatherings of ten people or more.
