A listing high above the Potomac in McLean has re-entered the market, and the $21 million price tag is more for the siting of the property than the home that currently sits on the land.
Easter Hill consists of two lots and nearly four acres along McLean's Gold Coast, a stretch that offers some of the best views of the Potomac River in the DC region. The property is listed with Mark Lowham of TTR Sotheby's International Realty, and is for sale again after having been on and off the market over the last two years.

"The existing residence provides a reference point for the opportunity which this exceptional site presents," the listing description states. "The estate is ideally positioned on a gentle knoll which offers sweeping views in both directions along the river."
It might be a good time for the listing to re-enter the market. A 14,000 square-foot home about a five-minute drive from Easter Hill adjacent to the historic Hickory Hill mansion (map) sold last week for just north of $13 million.
