A new residential project is on the boards for east of the Anacostia River.

Cox Development Group has pitched a three-story, 12-unit building for two lots at 62-64 Forrester Street SW (map) in DC's Bellevue neighborhood. Plans for the new project, designed by Mode4 Architecture, were filed with DC's Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) this week.

The development will be made up of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and half will be affordable as the project is subject to a DHCD covenant requiring that at least 50% of the units being set aside for affordable.

A BZA hearing for the new development has not been scheduled yet.
