DC-based architect Eric Colbert has a busy practice these days.
Citybizlist.com recently reported via Construction Journal that The Efficacy Group, owner of a to-be-constructed 97-unit, 110,000 square-foot residential development at 90 V Street SW (map), has approved the project’s design and budget. It has not been determined if the new development will be condos or rentals.

90 V Street SW is one of a slew of new projects being designed by Eric Colbert & Associates. A name synonymous with new residential construction in DC, Colbert’s firm is also designing the JBG development that plans to break ground at 14th and U by the end of the year, the new PN Hoffman condo project at 14th and R, and the first residential phase of the Northwest One project in NoMa, among others. Incidentally, the PN Hoffman development along with Jim Abdo’s new project at 14th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW presented to the Board of Zoning Adjustment this morning.
The new development at 90 V Street would sit right next to Akridge’s planned mixed-use development at 100 V Street SW.
