An 84-unit condo project near the H Street Corridor will start selling units this spring and plans to be complete by December, UrbanTurf has learned.
The Valor Development project at 1350 Maryland Avenue NE (map), known as The Maryland, is on the former site of the Faith Bible Church. PGN Architects is behind the design and Urban Pace will handle sales and marketing.
“We expect sales to begin in the April-May timeframe,” Valor’s Will Lansing told UrbanTurf.
Valor bought the church in 2011 with plans to develop it into a 49-unit condo project. But the subsequent purchase of a neighboring lot in 2012 almost doubled the project’s size.
The Maryland is one of several condo developments in the works near the H Street Corridor. Others include a 25-unit condo project at 301 H Street NE, tentatively scheduled for a 2014 delivery, and a 16-unit condo project at 1115 H Street NE expected to deliver this summer.
