Even as the housing market slowed over the last year in the DC region, there were still plenty of neighborhoods where homes sold quickly due to a low supply of homes and sustained buyer demand. Today, UrbanTurf looks at where listings are selling fastest in DC proper in 2023.
Using median days on market data for advertised subdivisions around the city, we highlighted where homes have been selling quickest. To be included in the table, subdivisions needed to have recorded at least ten sales so far this year.

With homes selling on median in 48 hours, the neighborhood of Spring Valley off Massachusetts Avenue in NW DC is leading the way, even with home prices averaging $2.6 million. Following just behind is Takoma, where homes are selling on median in four days, a much quicker clip than last year when homes were sitting on the market for a month.
North Cleveland Park, Logan Circle and the Southwest Waterfront are all seeing homes sell in just under a week. Despite a high volume of sales so far this year, homes are selling in Chevy Chase DC and Cathedral Heights in just a week.
