Leading the way was Glen Echo, a Maryland neighborhood off MacArthur Boulevard where homes rarely hit the market and sold in just four days on median this year. The lesser-known DC neighborhoods of Colonial Village and Kent, along with the Alexandria neighborhood of Del Ray, are just behind Glen Echo, with homes selling in five days.
