Two Lots, 3.6 Acres And $25 Million: A McLean Riverfront Estate Finds A Buyer

A riverfront compound along McLean's Gold Coast listed for $25 million, went under contract earlier this week, UrbanTurf has learned. The listing, represented by Nuha Mardini of Ultima Properties, is the second priciest home on the regional market, behind Dan Snyder's River View Estate, which is listed at $49.9 million.

Much of the value may be in the land. The listing combines two lots, 1100 and 1153 Crest Lane (map), into 3.64 acres overlooking the Potomac River. The seven-bedroom house was built in 1999, and the property last sold in 2008 for $11 million. Recent Crest Lane history suggests the final price will come in lower: 1169 Crest Lane closed 27% below its $17.5 million ask, and the Stratford House at 1260 Crest Lane sold for 9% less than its asking price last year. Nuha Mardini declined comment for this article.

It has been an active year for high-priced real estate on this stretch of the Gold Coast. In March, a six-bedroom home at 1007 Crest Lane sold off-market for $11 million. On April 14, 1169 Crest Lane, a 2013-built home on 2.32 acres, closed for $12.825 million after going under contract in late March. Ten days later, the 3.8-acre Easter Hill property at 1175 Crest Lane closed at $12.45 million. Those two homes were purchased by the same buyer, according to the Washington Business Journal. A third home, the roughly 2.4-acre Bella Vista at 1159 Crest Lane, was listed in April for $11.9 million and is now priced at $8.9 million.

Earlier Gold Coast deals provide more context. The Stratford House sold for $14.05 million in 2025 after being listed at $25 million in 2023. The largest Crest Lane sale in recent memory was the $24 million off-market sale of the Little Falls estate at 1211 Crest Lane in 2020.
