14 Condos and Retail Planned For Georgia Avenue in Petworth

Yet more residential development is on the boards for Petworth.
Plans were filed with the Board of Zoning Adjustment on Thursday for a 14-unit condo development with retail space at 4328 Georgia Avenue NW (map). The development will have 11 one-bedroom units, and three, two-bedroom duplexes.

The application says that the 2,800 square-foot retail space at the new project will “continue the tradition of retail/neighborhood servicing commercial uses.” The development, designed by PGN Architects, is looking for an exception from the minimum parking requirement, among other variances.
4328 Georgia Avenue NW would join a slew of other residential projects on the boards for the Petworth and Park View areas.
