Yelp for the DC Condo Scene (Sponsored)

Does the condo building that you live in have an amazing roof deck or an extremely helpful front desk? Are the walls so thin that you can hear your neighbors? Either way, there is now a place to voice your praise or complaints.
A new DC-based website lets condo owners inform those on the hunt for a new place about the pros and cons of a specific building. buyDCcondos.com, started by Buyer’s Edge, includes descriptions and videos of neighborhoods and condos across DC, but the real advantage of the site is that current residents can provide first-hand evaluations of the buildings in which they live.
Each project page includes information about condo fees, parking availability, pet policies, laundry, walkability and area amenities, and it also includes a blog for every building which offers an opportunity for current owners and those knowledgeable about individual buildings to make comments, giving the condo buyer a look into what people really think about different properties.
“We are in the unique position to provide open and honest expert condo evaluations because we are never in the position of representing a seller of these properties,” said Dana Hollish Hill, Vice President at Buyer’s Edge. “And by allowing visitors to the site to add their feedback about the condo buildings in a blog format, we see this site as an open forum on DC condos.”
For more about buyDCcondos.com, watch the quick video below from Buyer’s Edge president Steve Israel. Or you can just head over to the site now and inform buyers about the pros and cons of the building where you live!
Buyer’s Edge Company, Inc. is the region’s oldest and largest exclusive buyer agency, dedicated to representing only buyers of residential real estate. This commitment to one side of the real estate transaction eliminates conflicts of interest associated with trying to represent both buyers and sellers.
