On Thursday, the Washington Business Journal reported that Dan and Tanya Snyder had moved out of their palatial estate along the Potomac River, which got UrbanTurf thinking that it may come up for sale in the coming months.
Back in late 2021, the Snyders purchased a portion of George Washington's Mount Vernon home for $48 million. The 16.5-acre property along the banks of the Potomac known as River View was listed for $60 million.

The listing consisted of a 16,000 square-foot main house, as well 400 feet of water frontage, a three-bedroom guest house, a fully reconstituted carriage house with four parking spaces and a studio apartment, a waterfront dock and reproduction of English colonial boxwood and rose gardens.
The Snyders have likely made upgrades over the last couple years, putting a potential asking price well north of $50 million. Homes in the region carrying such lofty price tags are usually listed privately rather than hitting the open market, but UrbanTurf will continue to keep any eye out.
