Cohousing Two-Bedroom in Silver Spring
A couple years ago, we wrote about cohousing, a living arrangement that is somewhere between a commune and a condo building. Basically, privately-owned units are arranged in close proximity to each other and to shared spaces like parks, common buildings, and shared guest rooms. Neighbors tend to interact almost every day and make many decisions by consensus. This listing is in Silver Spring’s Eastern Village, one such cohousing complex in the area. The two-bedroom has an open living area, and a second bedroom that looks like it is being used as a nursery/den. The balcony is covered in greenery and looks like a good place to stand and chat with neighbors.

Cleveland Park Condo With a Fireplace
This one-bedroom unit is in The Woodbine, a 1926-built building just a few minutes from the Cleveland Park Metro station. It’s on the compact size, but there is enough room for all the necessary features, and the windows help brighten the space. The unit was renovated at some point, and has shiny floors and a new kitchen and bathroom. The TV mounted above the fireplace conveys, as does the unit’s built-in sound system.

An Arlington Two-Bedroom
Though it’s not a large house, this option is a detached home with a lawn, mature trees and an adorable facade. The two-bedroom colonial in Arlington is set at the end of a cul de sac and amidst tall trees. Unlike most DC homes, the yard is completely fenced in, so a baby or dog could safely hang out outdoors.
