Wegmans, the family-owned supermarket chain that has a following rivaling Trader Joe’s, announced on Thursday that it will be opening its Alexandria store in mid-June.
The store will be located at the Hilltop Village Center, a retail and office complex at Telegraph Road and Beulah Street (map). It will open its doors on June 14 and has already started hiring and training for part-time positions at the location.
The store will be the seventh location in Virginia. DC is still anxiously waiting for its first store.
