This would be a return for the women's lingerie company not only to Georgetown, but also DC. Victoria's Secret used to have an outpost at Georgetown Park before the mall closed. This new store would be the only location in DC.
It has been a busy 18 months for retail announcements in Georgetown. Last January, news came that Tesla would move its downtown DC location to M Street, and just before that, Kim Kardashian's Skims underwear brand filed plans to open a store across the street at the Eastbanc building at 3300 M Street NW. In May, Raising Canes, the popular Louisiana chicken chain, filed plans to open a location along M Street. And then in August, Framebridge filed plans for a store on Wisconsin Avenue.
