2126 and 2128 N Street NW
The Dupont Circle Citizens’ Association (DCCA) is giving away a pair of rowhouses that are slated for demolition to whomever can haul them away from N Street.
If they remain, the houses, at 2126 and 2128 N Street NW (map) will be razed to make way for construction of a 9-unit by-right boutique condominium development on the land and two adjacent vacant lots.

DCCA has arranged with J Street Companies, which is developing the condo project, to offer the houses or their facades to anyone that will put them to good residential or commercial use. Whoever commits to removing the houses would bear responsibility for obtaining the necessary permits to make the move happen.
In DC, moving rowhouses might not be as hard as finding an open lot to relocate them to.
