Penzance's striking new plans for Rosslyn got a key approval this week.
On Tuesday, the Arlington County Board approved the developer's plans for One Rosslyn, a new three-building development that will deliver 862 new residential units along the Potomac River. The project will be located at the site of Rosslyn Gateway, two office buildings that Penzance purchased from JBG SMITH last year. The Baupost Group is also part of the development team.
The breakdown of the new residential buildings includes:
- A 30-story tower with upwards of 461 residential units.
- A 27-story tower with upwards of 319 apartments.
- An 82-unit luxury condominium building.
The two residential towers will be centered around a 30,000-square-foot private landscaped terrace that will overlook the adjacent Gateway Park.
Designed by Hickok Cole and STUDIOS Architecture, the new development will also feature nearly 15,000 square feet of retail and at least five outdoor seating areas.
The project could break ground next year, which would result in delivery around 2030.
